TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Reservations
Inquiries and reservations for services in all areas shown in this tariff can be made through the Bali Prestige Tours and Travel office in Denpasar, Bali. Maximum details are required in order to fulfil reservations efficiently. Please provide arrival and departure dates, flight details and numbers of persons involved and alternative hotels, if acceptable, to assist us in fulfilling your requirements.
Confirmations
An airmail letter will make confirmation. Cable, telex or faxes will be sent on prepaid advice or when short notice does not permit us to confirm by letter. Fax or telex communication will be sent on request and at a nominal charge of US$5.00 per telex or fax for each country and all expenses for additional cables and or telexes will be billed to you. Unless you instruct us to the contrary, when you lodge the request by telex or fax it is understood that you will accept the return charges.
Cancellations
Cancellation fees are levied by Bali Prestige Tours and Travel in cases where charges are instigated by outside contractors or where actions taken extend beyond reservations for tours and hotel accommodation contained in the Bali Prestige Tours and Travel Tariffs list. Charges may be levied at the sole discrimination of Bali Prestige Tours and Travel for movement planning, consultation and ancillary expenses related to the development of services of a specialized nature or where cancellations are lodged (including reduction in size of movement by more than 10%) within 45 days of commencement of the operation.
The majority of hotels, carriers, restaurants and other contractors charge cancellation fees, which vary depending on the circumstances. In the event of cancellation or reduction in movement size, Bali Prestige Tours and Travel will only be liable for refund of (or not charge for) any monies paid (or due) subject to the deduction of such sums, as may be claimed in cancellation fees by Bali Prestige Tours and Travel, hotels, carriers or other services specified above.
Terms of Payment
Payment may be made by telegraphic transfer or bank draft. Payment may also be made by company or personal valid credit cards, however Bali Prestige Tours and Travel must receive the payment 45 days prior to client(s) arrival to allow for processing and bank clearance.
Funds must be send to the bank account of Bali Prestige Tours and Travel and comply with payment provisions. Bali Prestige Tours and Travel shall be entitled to claim for, and receive, payment of any expenses incurred, in addition to full settlement with interest, for any unpaid amount with respect to services provided.
Vouchers and Exchange Orders
Please issue one voucher for all services required, clearly setting out the services to be provided including an itinerary (copy should also be forwarded with the vouchers). Only the services detailed will be provided. Copies of vouchers and itinerary must be received, together with payment, before the arrival of your clients. Please address vouchers/exchange orders to: Bali Prestige Tours and Travel, PO Box 3727, Denpasar, 80224, Bali, Indonesia.
Taxes
Airport taxes are not included in our quotations unless specially requested. Current airport taxes are listed under the appropriate city. All taxes are subject to change by local government and Bali Prestige Tours and Travel will collect directly from clients individually. Hotel rates quoted in the supplement to this tariff are inclusive of a service charge and government tax applicable to each destination. We reserve the right to adjust the hotel rates accordingly to reflect any increase or decrease in the amount of taxes payable.
Exchange Rates
All rates are quoted in our tariff are in US Dollars. Bali Prestige Tours and Travel does not guarantee currency rates or any quotation where currency conversion is included. Where payments are made, in other than the local currency, the overseas agent will be held responsible for any shortfall resulting upon presentation to our local bank in the respective country on the day the payment is presented.
Validity
Rates quoted in our tariff are prepared in the beginning of April of each year for the following year. Rates are applicable for the next calendar year and calculations have been based on reasonable increases on existing labor and fuel costs. Should these costs vary Bali Prestige Tours and Travel reserves the right at their sole discretion to alter rates at any time without prior notice (Rates are subjected to change due to Government Policy on Monetary Field).
Tour Pricing
Our tour pricing are based on our company's motto: "Being A Blessing To Others", our resources are our islands and its people.
We collaborate together to create an atmosphere of "Team Work" not only with our associate operators around Indonesia and trained specialists personnel in their own division, but also with the local partners which the local partners which has an important role to create a "Team Work" upon arrival of guest(s), group etc where we try to serve excessive measure of services to each and every guest we handle. Our common objective is to provide destination awareness and top quality programs.
Liability
Bali Prestige Tours and Travel acts only as an Agent for transportation companies, hotels, car rental operators and all other contractors (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Contractors”). Therefore, both for themselves, and on behalf of their servants and agents, Bali Prestige Tours and Travel does not accept responsibility for:
i) Any act, omission, default or neglect by themselves, their servants and agents for the Contractors, for injury, damage or loss to persons or goods, accidents, change of schedule or other irregularities whatsoever and howsoever the same maybe caused.
ii) Any cancellations of journeys, deviations, delays or failure to provide seats, berth or facilities for carrying or storing luggage or for any failure to provide accommodation.
Bali Prestige Tours and Travel also reserves the right, without being liable for any loss or damage, to change the itinerary with or without notice and at its sole discretion, if found to be in the best interest of all concerned.
Transfers
Unless otherwise indicated, transfer rates include: meeting and welcoming services, portage fees for two pieces of luggage per passenger during transfer operations at airports, railway stations, seaports and hotels, transportation by air-conditioned cars and/or coaches unless otherwise indicated. Reconfirmation of onward travels, reservations. Airport taxes will be paid if requested and will be charged at cost.
Assistance with arrival and departure procedures at airports, stations, ports and/or hotels can be provided upon request at additional cost
Tours
Unless otherwise indicated, tour rates include: Transportation as indicated in the itinerary. For individual and groups, Bali Prestige Tours and Travel will provide qualified English speaking guides. Admission fees. Meals when indicated in the itinerary. Note: Guides speaking other than English are available upon request, at additional cost.
Hotels
Hotel accommodation is based on sharing in air-conditioned, twin-bed rooms, with private bath or shower unless otherwise indicated. Single room supplements are indicated. Air-conditioning cannot always be guaranteed in resort or remote locations.
Transportation
The best available transportation is used. Where possible Bali Prestige Tours and Travel utilizes coaches and cars owned by its operating and/or associated companies.
Standard of Services
Bali Prestige Tours and Travel will endeavor to provide the highest available standard of service within the limitations of the destination involved.
Tour Leaders
Services are provided free of charge, for a bona-fide tour leader with every 15 full-paying passengers. This arrangement is complimentary apart from meals and airfares, and is limited to a maximum of 1 tour leader per group. In many instances, hotels extend a twin-share on a complimentary basis for every 15 full-paying passengers. Where single rooms are occupied, the hotels reserve the right to charge a supplement.
Children’s Rates
For transportation services, the following rates apply:
Under 2 years : free of charge
2-12 years : 50% of full rates
Over 12 years : at full tariff rates
Note: Rates for hotel accommodation and meals are subject to the tariff of the respective hotels.
Hospitality Desk
Hospitality desk with uniformed staff may be arranged at principal hotels for group arrivals to dispense information, sell optional sightseeing tours and make meal arrangements. Rates for hospitality desk staff for tours, conventions and incentive movements may vary depending on the situation, and are incorporated into the quotation for the service provided. Telex, cable, fax and telephone facilities are available in principal areas to tour leaders. All charges will be debited back to the company concerned.
Insurance
All vehicles used by Bali Prestige Tours and Travel are insured in accordance with local regulations. However, your clients are well advised to obtain personal baggage and accident insurance cover. See liability clause.
Coverage and Acceptance
All quotations prepared by Bali Prestige Tours and Travel are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated above, whether they are included in the quotation or not.
These terms and conditions supersede any made at a previous date and in any form. Bali Prestige Tours and Travel reserves the right to amend or alter any of the conditions herein from time to time at its sole discretion.
Cancellation
If cancellation is received 30 days prior to departure, the deposit will be forfeited but the balance of the money will be returned. For cancellations received between 29 and 15 days before departure, 30% of the cost of the tour will be charged. For cancellations made within 7 days of departure, regrettably no refund can be made.
Responsibility
Bali Prestige Tours and Travel, its subsidiaries and/or its associated agents act only as agents for the companies they represent, and disclaim any and all liability for property loss or damage, and/or any and all damages directly or indirectly resulting from death or personal injuries, which may be sustained on account of, or arising out of, by reason of, or while engaged on, any tour, whether due to the ownership maintenance, use, operation or control of any aircraft, automobile, bicycle, boat, vehicle, inn, hotel, guesthouse, common carrier or otherwise, or whether caused by failure or delay or by any transportation company, due to any cause whatsoever, occurring during a tour under its management, sponsorship, procurement or otherwise.
All tickets, coupons and orders are furnished and issued subject in all respects to these terms and conditions in addition to any and all terms and conditions under the means of transportation or other services provided which are offered or supplied by owners, operators or public carriers for whom Bali Prestige Tours and Travel acts solely as an agent.
Bali Prestige Tours and Travel reserves the right at its discretion to alter or omit any part of the itinerary or change any reservation, feature and/or means of conveyance, without notice and for any reason whatsoever and without allowance for compensation or refund, but the extra cost, if any, resulting therefrom shall be due and payable by the passengers.
Neither Bali Prestige Tour and Travel nor the transportation companies concerned are to be held responsible to any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers or conveyances. The passengers contract in use by the carriers concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies and the purchaser of these tours and/or passengers.
In the event of fluctuations of currency or variations in costs payable by us, Bali Prestige Tours and Travel reserves the right to vary the cost of the tour after acceptance of a booking up to and including the date of departure, and the increased cost shall be due and payable by passenger.
